Truth
There is only one truth
Believe that as you would believe the sun
And when the final shot of the rifle rings in your ear
When all that you see begins to fade
As time slows down and in that instant of change you fall
You will realise the truth untouched
May you have the courage to face your fears
And wash away the troubled coat of uncertainty
To begin another verse of your sanity
To recall that which has happened before is true
If little is what much can become
When all that is begets another truth variably
To the extent that what you understand to be
Is only as subtle as the force within
As the days become unearthed to defiance
And the nights repel all senses but one
Will the lever of age reveal a hint of a condition
That rarely is seen but is as cancer
One becomes two becoming more
Forever the faucet of life deteriorating
